Despite Publicity, Food Safety Is Not Improving

Post by tex »

Hi All,

According to this CDC report, despite all the media coverage, and all the lip service that has been devoted to improving food safety in the wake of all the food contamination scares during the past few years, the sad fact is that food safety apparently has not improved since 2004.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

:???: Very sad.....makes me glad that we grow so many of our own critters to eat, the fewer trips to the evil grocery store, the better....after being a lab rat for so many years, IMHO, there are many more food poisoning cases go undetected, so the number is much higher than what they state.

Hugs,
Carrie
