Well, I've finally taught myself to be quite good on the gluten free diet, but the last two Sundays in a row now, I've had a major D episode in the afternoon...a couple hours after lunch. I am sad to say, after many good experiences there, that I'm probably reacting to our routine Sunday morning breakfast at the new diner in town. I get omlets, and have been fine for months.
I've had that mild reaction feeling and thought I solved it in the grocery store last week when I re-read the fudgcicle ingredient list only to be dissappointed that they contain malt powder

(I LOVE Fudgcicles!). But now I've avoided those for a week and here I am still reacting. I usually take 18 to 24 hours to react to gluten, so thats bugging me that maybe this reaction is only a 6 hour delay if it's the diner food.
Well, just venting, ranting. Just when you think you're doing really well, something bites you!
