Hi everyone!!
I'm baaaaaaaack
Feeling much better now! I was released from the doctor on Wednesday for 6 months. I have to have an x-ray before going back; they'll check to see if more stones are growing. I was told to stay away from spinach, nuts, iced tea and chocolate. I will now be prone to more stones - but maybe not! LOL I could have charged $65 for that diagnosis!
Work still moving along. Making headway but it is a slow process.
We are going to be going out for the day tomorrow. Larry's hometown has an ox roast each year. This year they cooked 8250 pounds of beef!!! It opens at noon today and will be sold out of beef by 3 p.m. tomorrow!! It doesn't matter how much they cook, it's always gone way before the parade. And this is for a town so small that it doesn't have a stop light or sign thru the main street! Amazing! It's a lot of fun. We will eat, watch the parade and play corn hole! I got the game for my birthday and it is a load of fun to play.
Talk to everyone soon!
Love,
Mars

Mars,
Remember the old commercial with the "Where's the beef?" punch line? Obviously it's in Larry's hometown.
I'm glad to see that you're doing so much better.
Love,
Tex

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
It's funny you should say "Where's the Beef?" - I have seen T-Shirts being worn by the volunteer firefighters (they sponsor this event, it is their fundraising for equiptment).
Becky - the game is played by throwing corn filled bags across the lawn 27 feet (I think) to a slanted board with a hole in it. The object is to make 21 points before the other team. It is kind of thrown like horseshoes. It is a blast to play!
Hugs,
Mars
