Hi,
I've noticed that lately, except for right after I've washed my face, my nose feels like it's got a thousand blackheads, although when I look into the mirror, they're not readily apparent.
My sister has rosecea and is wondering if I'm not getting it also, but I don't notice my face getting red in a few places as hers does.
Anyway, just as soon as I apply a little abrasion, the nose will feel smooth for a while, and then the whole thing comes right back again.
Anyone but me experience this. I've never had anything like this in my life before now! Anyone have rosecea? It's autoimmune, as well. Perhaps it results from not eating gluten, dairy casein, dietary yeast, or egg whites! Hahaha! Just kiddin'!
Yours, Luce

Hi Luce. I don't have rosecea or redness in the face. But I have had blackheads on my nose ever since puberty, as did my maternal grandmother (she was Swedish). Yuk - I sound gross now that I read this! Anyway I've tried dermabrasion and other treatments but they just come right back. I've given up trying to find a cure and just live with it by using a concealing-type of makeup. Maybe this whole thing is genetic.
Love,
Carrie
