Fresh Berry Sauce For Pancakes

Fresh Berry Sauce For Pancakes

4 cups blueberries
2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
4 cups apple juice or grape juice
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1 dash cinnamon
1/4 cup cornstarch or arrowroot
1/4 cup cold water
1/4-1/2 cup sugar

Directions
Bring the juice, syrup, sugar, and the blueberries to a boil.
Mix the cornstarch or arrowroot with the cold water and stir until well blended.
Slowly pour the cornstarch or arrowroot mixture into boiling juice.
Stir until thickened.
Remove from heat and stir in the cinnamon.
Add fresh strawberries right before serving.
