Calling Tex Again!!!!

Hi Tex:

When you get the chance would you reply to this message to see if by adding the board e-mail address to my address book allows my reply's to come into my INBOX? Hate to be a bother but I've been racking my brain on how to correct my reply's going into the SPAM file and I've got my fingers crossed that hopefully this will work.

Sure - no problem. Is the spam filter you're using built into your browser, or are you using your ISP's spam filter?

Tex I am completely without doubt a computer IDIOT!!!! What I did was go by process of illimination and trying to figure out WHY I was getting my notifications before the change but since the change I wasn't getting them. Since I didn't quite understand what you meant about White something or other I decided to just add pfarms to my address book HOPE upon HOPE that my notification replies would start coming to my INBOX and it worked. Have no idea why but it worked. LOL

If that worked, then you must be using the spam filter built into your e-mail client, and I'll bet you're using MS Outlook for your e-mail client. When you added the address into your address book, that amounted to adding the address to your "white list". No e-mail from an address on your white list should ever go into the spam file. What you did was the correct way to resolve the problem. See, you know more about it than you thought you did. LOL.

Thanks for the "thumbs up" I'm proud of me!!!! Yes I am !!!!! LOL All I thought about was getting my notifications back and thought "If pfarms is in my address book then maybe they wouldn't go into the SPAM" and it worked. Who knows I just might grow a little more computer smarts as time goes on. Heeheehee!!!!!
