Busy, busy, busy

Summer's going so quickly, it's almost time to start loving on a new batch of kindergartners.
Last week, I spent everyday taking classes near Seattle to keep my teaching certificate updated. I spent 2 1/2 hours a day to drive 60 miles. That included a 30 minute ferry ride . That's one way and then would do the same to get home. It made me thankful for my usual mile and a half commute to my school. The stress of the commute did not agree with me...if you know what I mean.
Anyway, just wanted to say "Hi" and hope you all get to enjoy the last bit of summer we have left.

Hi Becky, you sound like a really dedicated teacher, I hope you get a great class. And I hope your system settles soon. Stress just tears me up. I hate to fly and going to AZ just put my system on edge, plus different food there.

I'm glad you had a great time with your grandkids. I'm sure they appreciate your efforts to be involved in their lives, if not now, they will later.
Sorry about the sinus infection but glad you get tomorrow off. I used to get chronic sinus infections and then I got one of those sinus rinse bottles, awkward at first but works like a charm. Antibiotics mess me up. Best wishes and enjoy your day off!

Hi Becky!

Whoo Hoo...here we go...my meetings start on Monday! I just got my schedule on Wednesday, so I have a ton of planning to do! Yikes! I also found out that I will be a 6th grade advisor, yea! Life is good! TTFN.....JJ
