I thank U all so very much for the wonderful wishes---I always luved my special day---but for the past 7 seven years I sit--and share my tears and heartaches with all that have lost family--friends---and just a person U might say *Good day* to
And thats cus today is 9/11 - that dreadful day of the planes ramming into the Towers ---and ripping peoples lives apart---
Innocent peoples--rushing to work---chatting with each other as they escalated to their destinations--not knowing that thousands would never make it home to hug their luved ones---or sit in a park and enjoy the scenery---say another good morning--
U see I grew up on the lower east side of the city---NYC will always be my home---and since that day---it has become the saddest day of my life---
Doug--Deb and Lynn call and I try to be happy but within minutes I am sobbing----but they understand how much I luved my NOO YAWK CITY--
Today I say * well I made it to another year* (which Louie keeps reminding me) and as the day runs into evening---I sorta *cheer-up* and know that I can smile--
I will say---they sure as hell are taking time setting up a proper memorial sight ---they should make that god awful scene into a beautiful park--and not throw up some other humungus buildings!!!! Look at the beautiful memorial that has been erected for the people who lost their lives at the Pentagon---
