Checking-in

Post by JJ »

Hi gang....thought I would check-in and say howdy. Welcome to the new people...this is a wonderful place for support and information....this group has become my family, and has seen me through some pretty tough times in the last couple of years To answer one person's question about stress and CC, I am living proof that it's true. I was down to one Entocort cap every other day until my job was cut back and eventually eliminated. Sigh....I am currently taking 2 caps/day, but hope to start tapering off again soon.

My life has been so hectic,...still unpacking from my move, new job, big yard, etc., etc. On top of that, my car had problems twice...a mouse had been chewing on the wires! Uffda!

Anyway, please know that I am thinking of you all...and will keep checking-in when I can.

Love, JJ

full plate

Post by Carol Arnett »

Hi JJ,

You sure do have a full plate. Be careful of the stress created by trying to do too much at once.

I used to have to get ALL my unpacking done on the first day (haven`t moved for a long time) but if I did, it would get done when I got around to it. It will always be there for you..unless you have a Genie hidden somewhere in a bottle. Love, Carol

Hi J.j.
How's school going? I have a dream group of kindergartners. I'm taking tomorrow off for a couple of appointments, that will be nice to get somer errands done. Are you seeing any snowflakes up there yet? I heard it was a possibility.

Hi Carol and Becky,

I went to my GI yesterday in Tacoma, actually it was his PA. She was great.....I told her about the Potty People, and we discussed diet. etc. She is a firm believer that we are eating too much grain! Wow, someone actually willing to talk about food. She renewed my prescription for Entocort and said see you in a year.

I am teaching Middle School Art for the first time in years....we have a wild bunch of 8th graders and we are trying to figure out how to best control them. The 7th graders are a little wild sometimes, but within the normal range. The 6th graders are very sweet most of the time. I love my new school, but will be glad when things calm down a bit. My days are long, but life is pretty good right now.

Hope all is well with you guys!

Love, JJ

PS Becky....no snow here yet, but I can hardly wait to see snow on the nearby hills!
