because caffeine will be in everything else, if the current trend continues, and if we're not careful, we may overdose on caffeine.

What really puzzles me, is why the FDA refuses to require caffeine content to be a label requirement.

Is there ever really such a thing as to much caffeine? Say's the woman who has been known to chew on a coffee bean while waiting for the coffee to brew....

I have noticed the amount of products that have it, even Gatorade has a line with it now.

Hugs,

I can understand the draw. I'm a sugar addict (in recovery), and I think it's because as a society we tend to run our adrenals in overdrive most of the time tiring them out, thus needing caffeine and sugar to force them to pump out more cortisol. Our adrenals fatigue and we use the stimulants to feel better, and then we crash and need more. It's a vicious cycle. I've never tested my adrenals, but I'm sure they are pretty tired.

Hi Janet,

It's good to hear from you again, but I'm sorry to hear that you are still having problems with MC.

The link below has a list of low-fibre foods, and, of course, all meat has no fibre at all. The foods toward the bottom of the list, have the least amount of fibre. Since you are Welch, though, the foods that are causing your diarrhea, are wheat, barley, and rye, and possibly dairy products. Most of us here have similar origins, and we have found that if we eliminate those foods from our diet, we will no longer have any symptoms at all, after our intestines have some time to heal.

If you don't believe that you can completely stop eating all wheat, barley, and rye, (and dairy products), you might ask your doctor for a prescription for Entocort. Some of us are able to control our symptoms with Entocort, if we don't want to follow a restrictive diet, (if we don't mind taking a medication).

You're very welcome.

I love that line. Hopefully, soon, you will not have to worry about racing to the loo.

Good luck with your new plan, and we'll be looking forward to your updates,
