I really need some suggestions, Desparate!
I am having a devil of a time with the allergies, sinus or whatever it may be. I believe it is Allergies. Any way to date I have tried:
2 rounds of Antibiotics (In two and a half months)
Rinsing nasal passages with saline
Putting my head a steaming bowl of water w/mentolatum)
Zerytech (spelling)
Advi cold and flu (Desparate measure)
Also a nasal RX spray
And a few I forgot
Before I couldn't breathe out of this thing I call a nose, Now I can't breathe out of it cause I can't stop the crap from running out of it inbetween sneezes. My disposition is begining to be like a real pissed off This is all begining to feel like a bad nightmare with a whole lot of getting no where. So Any suggestions , any at all are not out of the question. Mike refuses to shoot me yet.
Love Oma

Oma ~ Please don't let Mike shoot you! LOL
It sounds as though you have a pretty nasty nasal infection. Be careful with all those meds. I got myself into a similar situation, when Spring about did me in. What I thought was supposed to help, indeed made it MUCH WORSE. Rebouding off nasal meds will cause your symptoms to get worse. Your nose will want more and more and before you know it, your an Afrin junkie. (Or that was me, anyway).
It really does sound as though you have tried EVERYTHING, I'm afraid you might need to just "step away from the meds" and let it run it's course. Cause really, it's gotta do that before you get better anyway.
I know I haven't helped you one bit, but I really do hope it passes soon. One good freeze is what we need! I know the ragweed here is terrible.

Oma,
Yep, it's ragweed, 'cause ragweed is what sets me off, and it's been pretty rough for the last few weeks. I've found that all I have to do is take one 12-hour Chlortrimeton tablet each morning, and it keeps me in good shape for 24 hours. It takes one day for it to clear things out, though, if I'm already reacting when I take the first one.
I've seen times when the ragweed and broomweed pollen was so bad that I couldn't see to work, because my eyes were watering and itching so badly, and I was sneezing almost constantly, but the Chlortrimeton would control it very well, as long as I remembered to take one every morning. I'm sure we are all different, though, and I don't get sinus infections, as a rule, so that probably makes your symptoms much worse.
You might get a freeze tonight, I would think, but it won't get that cold here, for sure, so we'll have to put up with it for a while, yet.
Love,
Tex

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

I never thought about the ragweed Tex! I only used part of an RX for nasal spray and haven't had any for a coup days but I may try the chlortrimeton. I used to use that years ago. Thanks Tex!
Kat and Barbara, thanks for trying, and yes Barb I have been a snotty mess lately. Nose feels rougher than than a cobb!
Love Ya all oma
