Well I got my new Mac mini yesterday and went to set it up last night. I bought the computer, keyboard, and a new mouse. I did not buy a new monitor as the one I have is in perfect working condition, BUT it is so old the connections are not compatible with the new computer. There are no extensions available to make it compatible either So now the old monitor is just landfill.
I went out and bought a new 17" moniter and some nice speakers to go with it.
My poor pocket book!!! I am being way too good of a consumer.
Looking forward to seeing your new confuser. I looked at it on the web and it's a cute little guy.
I know what you mean about confusers being painful on the pocketbook. Seems like we always need something more for them and it all costs $$$.

Yep, it's a 17" flat screen - very cool. And, yes, I agree they make computers (and many other things) so they won't be compatible with older equipment

I think they plan it that way.....so you have to spend, spend, spend! I sure gets frustrating when things don't work as planned.
