Hi my dear friends
Wow it has been such a long time since I posted on this forum however, from time to time I do log on to see how everyone is keeping.
So sorry for the lack of commination hmm, time passes so quickly huh? I returned to work June 2008 after 6 months sickness from the CC and still remain free from any recurring flare thanks to my old friend Entocort, by the way If anyone has any doubts regarding this medication please don't it has been a life saver for me! I won't fill you with false stories and promises of how my life has completely changed in the previous 7 months like everyone on this forum I have bad days, ok days, good days and sometimes days when I feel very well.
I feel quite proud of myself for learning to manage my condition and 90% of the time taking a positive attitude to life and concentrating on what I can do and achieve rather than the limits having CC presents. The tears, angry and frustration has gone from the time of dx and the months that followed. So really I just wanted to say 'THANK YOU' to this little family of ours for the knowledge and understanding you all shared during a very difficult time.
Most days you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Hope to check back in much sooner next time :-)

Hi Mini,
It's really nice to hear from you, and it's great to read such an upbeat post. We always wonder how our family members are doing, when we don't hear from them for a while, so I'm happy to see that you're doing so well. We have a lot of new members who will be glad to see that Entocort has worked so well for you, also.
Thank you for the update, and please log in more often.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Hello Mini,
Very happy to hear that you are doing so well on Entocort.
I have veen maintaining very well on Asacol since last August, so I know the feeling of "getting there".
It has been a very long and hard road for some members of our family so I feel very lucky, indeed.
It was good to hear from you again. Hugs, Carol
