Hello Barbara!!

I started a new thread since I know you like that rather then getting lost in old threads

We are fine here. Getting ready to leave for MN this Friday. Don't know if you saw last week - my Dad had a mild heart attack on Thurs...he is up in Walnut Creek (I know you know where that is!) and I went to see him yesterday - he looks really good - he is having a cardiac catheter tomorrow (they had to wait over the weekend since he is on a blood thinner)- if the blockages are 3 or fewer they will do the angioplasty (balloon) and stent - if more severe he will be a candidate for bypass. He had a bunch of tests a few mos. ago that were fine (but now the doc says the less invasive tests are only about 75% accurate ) so we are hoping for minor blockage that can be resolved tomorrow....the gut is churning until we know something tomorrow after the procedure....the waiting is the worst! Apparently even IF he needs bypass they would do it in the next few days, anyways - so vacation is still *ON* - but it is hard for me to plan and pack etc. with this on my mind....I'm going to try and see if I can hook up with Christine (Tender Tummy)while I'm in MN...

Don't stop coming here even if you are down - I can't tell you how many times you've made my day - we miss you when you leave

No, I didnt know your dad had a heart attack!!!!
Sorry to hear that and I know how your tummy must be churning---

Lets hope the best turns out for him and give him a big and tell him to be positive----

yup---I hated doing that cus when a thread gets very long sometimes the person doesnt get to see it----

In reference with Louie----they thought all he had was A blockage cus all the arteries, when cross matched, all showed the same---which led them to BELIEVE that they were all working and that led them to think there was no further troubles!!!!
Whoaaaaaaaa----there has to be a better way to determine the severity of a person---
Everything was 2 weeeks ---that got me very angry----like a chinese resturant 15 minutes~~~~~ but now our local chinese resturant went up to 20 minutes----

Once again try to relax---and time for for me--imagine its 11.30pm and I am still awake????
