Anyone Interested In A Chat Saturday? :gathering:

Post by tex »

Hi all,

Let's see if we have enough interest to justify scheduling a chat for Saturday afternoon. Because of time zone differences, members living across the pond, usually aren't able to join in when our chats are scheduled for the evening hours, (unless they're willing to stay up until the wee hours of the morning), which makes it pretty tough for Angy, and even more difficult for Tessa to join the chats.

Let's try to have a chat at 5 pm Eastern time, 4 pm Central time, 3 pm Mountain time, and 2 pm, Pacific time. I believe this would be at 10 pm, in Edinburgh, Scotland, and 11 pm in Madrid, Spain, (Saturday night). It would also be 8 am in Brisbane, Australia, and 9 am in Canberra, (on Sunday morning), in case Liz or Lyn might have a chance to join us.

I'm putting this notice up a couple of days ahead of time, so that as many members as possible will have a chance to see it, and plan for it. I hope to "see" you there. International chats are always a lot of fun.

I'm just not certain but I'll try..........

Good luck to Keaton. Let us know how he does.

We didn't get that Borzoi because I was afraid I'd be disappointed in her having such a short muzzle.

Will do...

My niece the photographer is supposed to go with us...to provide pic's. Hoping he will do well, at least it's just a fun match ( non point show ) so if he has a puppy meltdown, I won't be out major entry fee's...oh, the fun of training puppies...

Hi Tessa,

Yes, I will definitely be there, and I hope as many other members as possible can join. The chat will probably continue for a while, in case you arrive late.

Love,
Tex

Hi Angy,

No problem. We missed you, of course, but IMO, missing the chat because you're sleeping, is much better than missing it because you couldn't leave the bathroom. It's just about impossible to find a good time for everyone.

Ooops, I am so sorry that I missed the chat.

Please, acept my apologies. Our guests at home did not leave until 2 am, so I was unable to connect.

I am really sorry, I love to chat with you and know that you made it specially at this time to make it easy for me to join.
I hope to be able to join another one.

Jill,

I realize your new job is keeping you extra busy. Maybe you'll have more time later in the year, and you'll be able to join us then.

Tessa,

No problem - I understand. Maybe next time we will have better luck with the scheduling.

Love,
Tex

Lyn,

One of these days, when everyone's schedule will permit, we'll have a nice, long, around-the-world chat.
