Hi Mary!

I hope you have a great time in Mn. I think it's a super place, but then I'm a little biased :grin: . I haven't made it to Bittersweet since that first time over a year ago, but it's still open. You're in for a treat if you go. It's a tiny shop in a strip mall.

I'm sorry to hear about you dad; heart problems are scary, aren't they?
But on the bright side, so many advances have been made in treatment.
More options now and some less invasive. I think he'll be fine.

Hi Alice-

I'm excited to be going back for a visit when it is not FREEZING - I haven't been there in the summertime since 2000 - right before I got my MC diagnosis! We will be spending 4 days w/the extended family at a resort up in Grand Rapids - it shoud be fun and restful! I'm looking forward to some treats from Bittersweet - hard to bake GF in others' kitchens....

My mom said she's call this afternoon once we know what we're dealing with - cardiac stuff IS scary - but I must say he *looks* much better than when he was hospitalized w/his bleeding ulcer :grin:
