My travels have caught up with me

And I am feeling it like I haven't in some time. The fibro is acting up severely. When I went up north around a 7 hour trip, I had one day where I just couldn't wake up, slept about 24 hours, that is usual. But this time I drove part of the way, and then Bruce and I went to a 25 wedding anniversary party the day after. I was standing allot and that always takes its tole on me. Its pretty pathetic at my age too. But my whole body is pulsating in pain spasms. The codeine is not even touching it and I have been in and out of sleep since Sunday. The weather is not helping as we have the same high temps, over a hundred and high humidex reading and to top it off high humidex too. I think it all plays havoc on the body. Anyway, I do have to go out sometime today to get my prescrips filled and get some veggies and fruit, also have to pick up my contact lences. I just don't have the energy to do it, so force is in order. I had to cancel my appt. for the epidural because of going to see my parents last week, but it is resceduled for next Monday. I hope it helps the back pain at least. I spoke to quickly about mouth sores last week too, as I broke out in full force all through my mouth and it hurts to eat still, my toungue is white and I have a cold sore, that is healing now, thank goodness. The rash on my nose continues, but the sores in my ears are beginning to heal in my right ear, now I am getting them in my left. A bit of complaining going on here I can see, I just hate it when it gets like this. I get so weak it is hard to stand for very long, thank goodness for carts in stores or I wouldn't be able to do it. Well now I am going to nap a bit, then get ready to go out with my brother.

It sounds like you are really down and out. I'll send you a big ((((((hug))))) and lots of well wishes.

It's just not fair you can't even go for a trip without it knocking you down. Take care sweety and get rest after your outing!

Sorry you are feeling so bad. It sounds like everything has caught up with you at once. Regarding the sleeping for 24 hours--how is your blood pressure? I have a friend who got very low blood pressure and she just had no energy at all.

Yeah, it is a drag. But my brother got my neice to go out and get us some groceries so that we didn't have to. That was nice, I have been so dizzy and weak and exhausted I was almost in tears thinking I had to go out and get some grub and my prescriptions feeling like that. SO he told me to make a list and he would pay for it and I could get hime back later, so made up the list. The thing with my neice is she is just starting to do things like that and so she did get most of the things on my list, but missed a few things I will have to get later. But sometimes she is really clueless, I had to laugh when I was unloading my groceries because I had put on the list to get me some NO NAME anti-nausea pills, specifically because the brand name ones made by gravel are so much more expensive. I even told her where they were, but she still called me and asked me once again if they were like gravol, and I said yes, but they are the no name ones, and you get 100 for 4.99 instead of allot less for more money of the gravol brand. So I told her if there 100 and it cost 4.99 then it was the right ones, and she said yup, she got them. Well when I found them they were the gravol brand name and cost 5.99 for only 30 pills, I just went HUH??? Even after talking to her on the phone, but hey beggers can't be choosey??
I am starting to pick up so I should be able to take care of it all by Friday. Just needed some down days to recover and sleep and so forth. Thank goodness for modern washing machines and dishwashers right? I also still managed to make about 5 lbs of fudge for Mels girlfriend, Beth. It was her 26th birthday last Friday and I asked her what she would like and that was it, so they took it home with them tonight.

Tomorrow will be another rest day, and then Thursday it is downtown for my zylocaine shots, then sometime between now and Tuesday we are emptying my storage unit with Beth's help. That girl is strong.
So I have to put some dynomite under me so that I can get going, it would be too hard for me and my brother to do alone, we need strong muscles as we have none of that between us at all.
