Buckmaster was outside just a few minutes ago barking at the black cows my neighbor has...buck can see them from our window. Oh Crap...there he goes again..Bye Love Oma

 Yep, it's this Friday but don't be concerned about it, Oma. I'm sure the moderators and Wayne will be able to handle anything that may come up. I won't be here. Sure hate to miss it.

Hi Oma,

Yes, we will be open to the public on July 15 - it is so exciting!
Unfortunately, we will probably have to wait a little while before we can start to greet newbies as I think our site isn't going to appear at the top of the search engines around the country/world yet. Wayne will be able to explain this in detail - I am so thankful Wayne is with us :pulsinghearts:

The moderators are right here to take care of any trouble that may or may not occur when we go public - please, if anyone feels uncomfortable about anything that's going on after we open just send a PM or an email to one of the moderators to alert us and we will deal with the issue likety-split (sp???!).

Love,
Karen

As Karen said, I doubt that much will happen for at least a couple of weeks, because the search engine "web crawlers" will have to find us and catalog our site, before the search engines can even list it. Right now, we are completely invisable to them. The search engines don't even know that we exist.

The only people who might be able to find us, are the ones who are aware of my website address, (from the old board), and just happen to go looking for us. I expect a dull weekend, but we'll see. LOL.

Love,
Wayne

I also am getting excited about going public. We have a wealth of information and advice here and it is time to share it with a larger audience. I know when newbies are looking for help I want us to be there for them with thie information they just might need.

Also, I am very, very thankful for the number of moderators that will monitor "gate crashers or wet blankets" that could negatively affect us.

I've seen some MC/LC/CC folks on the Celiac forum. If it's ok for them I'm going to post a like to our site or at least PM them so they know about it. I might also do it on the IBS forum, though I haven't been there in some time. Too much to do/read lately.

Hi Mike,

I don't see anything wrong with that, assuming that it's allowed on those sites, (we don't want to violate anyone's rules). Don't forget that they won't be able to "see" this board until Friday.

Thanks,

Tex
